| Robert Pattinson... as Edward Cullen. He features in the books Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, as well as the Twilight film, and the as yet unfinished novel Midnight Sun - a re-telling of the events of Twilight from Edward's perspective. Edward is a vampire who, over the course of the Twilight series, falls in love with, marries, and has a child with Bella Swan, a human teenager who later chooses to become a vampire also. |

| Peter Facinelli as Carlise Cullen. Carlise is the father of the Cullens and is a 'good vampire'. He wills his way to overcomes his thirst for human blood, so that he can follow his passion - medicine. He falls in love with a dying girl (who was trying to commit suicide) and changes her into vampire - Esme. they both cannot have kids, but they 'adopt' Edward, Alice, Rosalie and Jasper, and turns them into vampires while saving their lives. |

| Elizabeth Reaser ... as Esme Cullen. At the age of 16 she was treated by Dr. Cullen (Carlisle) after she broke her leg from falling out of a treethat she was climbing. She never got over the exeperience of seeing his face- and she was utterly in love. She was the second person Carlisle had changed beside Edward. Consequently, Carlisle and Esme fell in love and were married soon after.

| Jackson Rathbone ... as Jasper Hale. He is a young intelligent vampire. He is the youngest member of the Cullen family and so he always looks like he's in pain unlike the others of the family. He is madly in love with his partner Alice and luckily she feels the same about him. Just like all the other vampires he is GORGEOUS looking with white skin. He has the ability to control peoples' emotions whether they are happy, upset or even furious! Jasper and Rosalie both took the last name Hale because they could be considered twins.

| Kellan Lutz ... as Emmett Cullen. Emmett's full name is Emmett McCarty Cullen, he was born in 1915 in Tennessee. He was changed in 1935, at the age of 20- two years after Rosalie.
Emmett was out hunting in the mountains, when he was mauled by a bear. He almost died, but Rosalie found him; when he saw Rosalie he thought that he had already died and that she was an angel. Rosalie carried Emmett over 100 miles to Carlisle because she was afraid to change him herself because she hadn't come over her blood lust, and she really wanted him to live. He couldn't understand why heaven would be so painful, so he thought that he was in hell, but he couldn't understand what an angel was doing in hell. Rosalie and Emmett have been married many times, mostly for show. Emmett will do anything for Rosalie and they have often lived away from the Cullens as a couple. |

| Nikki Reed ... as Rosalie Hale. Rosalie is supposedly the most beautiful vampire in existence. she knows this, and tries to use this to lord over other females, including Bella in the first two books. However, the two strike up an unexpected friendship when Bella gets pregnant.The only reason why Rosalie doesn't like Bella is because shes about to give up what Rosalie wants the most...mortality. |

| Ashley Greene ... as Alice Cullen. Alice was born around 1901 in Biloxi, Mississippi. Her full name is Mary Alice Brandon Cullen. She was 19 when she was changed by a man/vampire working in the Asylum that she was kept in, who had decide to save her rather than let her die, when James came to kill her just because this other vampire loved her.
Alice had visions even while she was human and this was the reason for her admission into the Asylum. She has no memory of any of the events of her life before she was changed; the first thing she remembers was seeing Jasper's face in a vision. Love at first sight! She found Jasper in 1948 and they then went to find the Cullens, whom Alice had also seen in a vision. |
